AVIX Partners with MDT in Korea to Develop the Korean Market

AVIX Partners with MarineDroneTech for Advanced Training and Global ExpansionInitially, we had planned to begin the training after the new year, but our eager Korean partners at MarineDroneTech (MDT) couldn’t wait. They quickly transferred funds, booked their flights, and urged us to begin their training. This immediately swept away any lingering relaxation from our year-end celebration, and we swiftly prepared training courses tailored to our friends from afar, covering flight operations and basic maintenance.MDT, based in Busan, is the pioneer and currently the only short-range maritime logistics company in Korea, with extensive experience in multi-rotor UAV operations. During the pandemic, when strict lockdowns prevented maritime personnel from disembarking and many quarantine policies were in place, MDT’s logistics services became crucial. They helped transport goods from the shores of Busan to large ships several kilometers offshore, including medical supplies such as rapid test kits and vaccines, as well as fast food, electronics, maintenance tools, parts, and gifts.This time, MDT is actively preparing to re-enter the government and maritime patrol bidding process in Korea. AVIX is excited to support them and, as promised, delivered a tailored training program, including English-language manuals and materials. The training was led by our seasoned instructors, Ah Lu and Lu Ge. In fact, AVIX had long prepared for internationalization by offering English training to employees and translating manuals into English years ago. Even during the pandemic, we were able to conduct remote video meetings with international clients, following the manuals for “technical and maintenance” support.The three Korean trainees were deeply impressed by AVIX’s professionalism and dedication. They appreciated how AVIX openly shared both successful and failed experiences from hands-on operations. In the midst of all the Q&A, visual demonstrations, and confirmations, both the good and bad were acknowledged, but the flaws did not overshadow the achievements.International operations, for AVIX, are carried out with calm and simplicity—without the need for fanfare. Our goal is to grow steadily, ensuring our path forward is both broad and solid.
