AVIX Partners with IIC Tech in India to Deepen the Aerial Mapping and Patrol Market
Years of Expertise in Aerial Mapping and Shrinking in India – AVIX and IIC Tech Collaboration
AVIX has been deeply involved in the aerial mapping and shrinking field in India for years. The cooperation began with a visit from the heads of IIC Tech, a company with over 1,000 employees in India, and their partner, Spurthi Strategies, known for their electronic manufacturing and top-tier CNC technology. After two visits pre-and post-pandemic, marked by careful deliberation and action, the first step toward collaboration was formed. After two intensive days of meetings and flight demonstrations, the Memorandum of Understanding and Mission Assignment Agreement were signed on May 4th. This also marked the first order and the decision to send six engineers and pilots to Taiwan for a 10-day training program.
This partnership not only solidified the "Taiwan-India" cooperation consensus but also established a system integration mindset, actively laying the foundation for the development of both the Indian defense and civilian UAV markets.
India, with its large domestic market, top-tier tech industry, and the rise of Indian-origin CEOs in international enterprises, showcases the growth potential of one of the world’s largest economies. While the “Make in India” strategy is attracting Taiwanese companies, managing communications and infrastructure issues can still make it challenging for Taiwanese businesses to fully seize the potential of the Indian market. Overcoming these obstacles tests AVIX’s market decisions and strategies. By establishing technical partnerships with local firms, AVIX is taking another significant step toward international expansion.
