From Taiwan to Himalaya - AXH-E230 unmanned helicopter aimed for flight challenge on the world’s highest peaks

How high can our AXH-E230 unmanned helicopter fly? This is the most common question asked by foreign customers when promoting the international market. Even though our team has actually climbed 3,600 meters and flown over the Central Mountains of Taiwan, such actual flight data is still unable to meet the needs of some customers. From September 15 to 18, 2024, AVIX's Indian partner TARA together with 40 other local drone manufacturers, was invited to the northernmost land of India, Leh, the capital of Ladakh located at the southern foot of the Himalayas, after preliminary screening by the local Ministry of Defense, to conduct a four-day actual drone mission flight test and demonstration in a foreign border known as the most dangerous and desolate in the world.  One of the most difficult challenges is to overcome problems such as low aerodynamic effects in high-altitude mountainous areas where the air is thin. This is an "altitude" that our helicopter has never reached before. Facing the drone market promotion in the world's most populous country and the largest country in South Asia, we have undoubtedly reached another significant milestone after this challenging trial and test.
